Noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring

Stable hemodynamics is a core goal in critical care and the OR, but there is no widely accepted method for managing hemodynamics. Catheter based monitoring carries known risk, and current noninvasive monitors are inaccurate and hard to use.

Bay-area medical device incubator Theranova has developed Cardiospire, a truly noninvasive solution using a novel heart-lung interaction called cardiogenic oscillation. Cardiospire attaches to an endotracheal tube, and uses machine learning signal processing algorithms to provide invaluable diagnostic and therapeutic guidance.
